The Nutcracker Ballet

December 8-10, 2017, Topeka Performing Arts Center

Can you hear that? The grandfather clock is chiming, guests are arriving and Clara and Fritz are eagerly awaiting the party to begin.
Can you see that? The magical Godfather Drosselmeyer and his enchanted gifts for the children, including a handsome Nutcracker for Clara.
Can you feel that? The rhythmic beat of the toy soldiers marching and the scampering of an army of mice as Clara's dream comes to life.
Can you smell that? The smoke of the canons dissipates as Clara and the Nutcracker escape in victory to the pristine snow and ice.
Can you taste that? The swirling of flavors in the Land of Sweets: the sugared plums, the mint of candy canes, the rich chocolates of Spain.
Discover your senses as you explore with Clara and her Prince during Topeka’s Favorite Holiday Tradition.
